Happy to be writing you again from the sweaty, smoky (but less smoky than it has been) Pacific Northwest. I sincerely hope wherever you are has nicer air than we’ve been experiencing lately.
Reporting back on the results of my Ultimate BeverageQuest: the coffee spritzer with orange peel was as tasty as advertised. I’ve made it several times since I found that recipe. This morning, I experimented with a different variation and came out with a passable cherry cola flavored coffee, which I also loved.
Hmm. With all these beverage experiments, I’m beginning to think one of my upcoming heroines needs to be a barista…
Rockstar #3
The next rockstar book continues apace. Summer busy-ness and travel is stretching this timeline out somewhat. But I am getting there! As we used to say, if the Lord don’t come and the creek don't rise, this one ought to come out in September.
(Does anyone else’s family use that phrase? I don’t think I’ve heard it from someone I wasn’t related to before.)
